Another big event celebrating the clubs 10th birthday

After our trip to the UK there will be another big event in Germany celebrating the 10th birthday of the club and the website.

All the club members and forum users can join us on Saturday 8 September 2012 starting at 11am and finishing around 5pm - exactly 10 years after the first appearance of our website on the net - at the "Auto & Technik Museum" in Sinsheim.

The Museum Sinsheim is located next to the A6 motorway between Mannheim and Heilbronn and can be easily reached making use oft the German motorway system.

On thepremises we have exclusively hired the Museum’s huge event hall (Terminal).

In the hall with plenty of space we will display some cars belonging to the users and club members, remembering the last 10 years, having a lot of fun and previewing the next 10 years ...



A detailed program will be posted soon, but we want to announce the event as early as possible in order to get a lively interest of the event. So you can plan a lot in advance.

If we can achieve our greatest wish, filling up the hall (720 square meters) with people and cars, this would be the icing oft he cake.

On the site’s own hotel you can stay at night and recover from the meeting. We are about to get special overnight prices.

We will try to work out an enjoyable program and you are also free to explore the museum (in groups or alone but on your own expenses).
After the start of he event including the salutation of the attendees, and a glass of sparkling wine or an orange juice with some canapés, you will have plenty of time visiting the museum. The event location is also perfectly suitable for children and kids.


Costs:

The hall including the technical equipment is hired and paid by the club, the drinks and the appetizers including the participation fee are 20 € per person. Money transfer should be done to our bank account.

On site are plenty of restaurants or fast foods.

We count on you turning this unique meeting in one of the biggest ever of the club.

it sounds temping but with my limited holidays already booked (BY ORDER of my Employer) and limited cash it may not be viable for us . but i hope it goes well for you all and if the job/money situation improves..... we can but hope

The organising teams, both of the Club and the museum, need some time to prepare this special event. So please make up your mind and register until 1 August. It will be worth it!

i would really love to come but not much chance short of a lotto win , while i am back on 5 day weeks after about a year of a lot of 4 days weeks money is i di hope it goes well for you all and i am sad to be not able to attend .

just noticed while the above is all true i have got a event on that weekend as in the British club national meet... so we will at least have some 75 action . i really do hope it goes well and i look forward to the photos and hearing about it .... no dough i'll post photos of the British event...

Dear participants on our meeting at Sinsheim on September 8th


To give you all some information around the day at Sinsheim please read the following:

Exclusive parking for your cars will be parking area no 1 (P1). This area will be signposted. The event hall will (no 22) be marked with a great flag which shows our Club Logo.

Around 10.45 a. m . you may enter the event hall. At the entrance every registered participant will get a small wristlet to have free entrance to the event hall and to get a special entrance fee for the museum in case you want to explore the museum by your own.

At 11.15 a. m. we will welcome you and we give you further information about the day. You are kindly requested to be in time!

At 11.30 a. m. a welcome drink and some appetizers will be served. Some assistants will kindly ask you for a donation which we will donate later to a charitably institution. Everyone who will donate 5 EUROS or more will get a brochure about the history of Club Seventyfive we have created exclusively for this event.

The first guided tour through the museum will start at 12.00 o’clock. This tour is dedicated for those of you who have booked a tour and who will leave us already on Saturday.

Please don’t forget to check in at the hotel if you have booked a room there after your tour. The hotel is situated directly besides the museum and it is only a very short walk.

If you haven’t booked a guided tour you will get a special entrance fee at the cash desk by showing your wristlet!

There are several drinks available in the event hall for the whole day (at your own cost) and if you feel hungry, there are some restaurants and also fast food is available on the area of the museum.

At 14.00 p. m. guided tour no 2 will start for those of you who will stay at Sinsheim until Sunday.

At 16.00 p. m. we all will meet again in the event hall for an auction of rare Rover 75 and MG ZT accessories. The outcome will be dedicated to the club. Be surprised!

At 17.00 p. m. the event will be finished.

If you have booked the common dinner this will take place at 19.00 p. m. at the restaurant of the Hotel Sinsheim.

For those of you who will arrive at Sinsheim already on Friday we have booked some tables at a nice brewery. If you like regional food and beer you are welcome to join us there from 18.00 p. m. The brewery is only a short walk away from the hotel.

There will be another very spectacular event at the airport Speyer on Sunday. The about 70 years old Junkers JU 52 from Lufthansa will be there. The airport has a nice beer garden and so you can watch and listen to this historic airplane. Some of us will be there too.

At this stage we will wish you all a save trip to Sinsheim and enjoy our meeting!
